Keeping up with tradition, the folks of the Beach Pub are proud to host their very special holiday benefit for local children, with their 16th annual Toys for X-Mas toy drive and fund-raiser, taking place Sunday, Nov. 13, starting at noon, at the 1668 I St. location.
Usually corresponding with the benefit, the annual Patrick Stott Memorial Bike Run (this year would be the 15th annual run) had to be postponed, due to the ongoing construction on Estero Boulevard.
Throughout the day, enjoy live music from Tommy V, Steve "The Lucky Dog" Lutke, Sean Bright, the John Allender Blues Band, and Bethanne and Kenny, along with lots of great food, drinks, raffles, prizes, 50/50s, silent auctions and so much more.
All funds raised will be going to help island kids have a Christmas. And, as this is a toy-raiser just as much as a fund-raiser, those attending the party are asked to please bring an unwrapped toy, which will be dispersed by the Fort Myers Beach Fire Dept., who then disperses them to beach kids who otherwise couldn't have a Christmas.
Be sure to stop by the Beach Pub anytime Sunday for non-stop music, fun, and so much more. If anyone would like to make a donation either in the form of a toy for the toy drive, gift for the raffles and silent auctions, or monetarily, and you don't plan to attend the benefit, contact the Beach Pub and someone gladly pick them up for you. Call 239-765-6102.
For further information, or to make a contribution to the cause, either monetarily or in the form of a gift for the raffles/silent auctions, call the Beach Pub, at 239-765-6102.
